Carol Burnett's daughter dies of cancer at 38

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Actress-writer Carrie Hamilton, the 38-year-old
daughter of comedian Carol Burnett, died Sunday due to complications
from cancer.

Burnett publicist Deborah Kelman said Hamilton died at the Cedars-Sinai
Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Hamilton, the daughter of the late director-producer Joe Hamilton,
appeared in the television series ``Fame'' and also made guest
appearances in ``Beverly Hills, 90210'' and ``The X-Files (news - Y!
TV).''
